The Bradie Building was put up by a cooperative of companies. The group consisted of Bow Valley Industries Ltd, Petcal Company Ltd, Well Information Services (1963) Ltd, Western Decalta Petroleum Ltd, and William G. Milne Architect. The first seven storeys were built in 1965, and the final seven were finished sometime around 1973. When it was completed, the Seaman brothers ran their Bow Valley empire from the 14th floor.
