The 1959 plans provided for the expansion that was made later to the south side. The elevation in these drawings indicates that the façade would be continuous. However, when the addition was completed in the late 1960s, the façade was broken up, leaving part of the core visible. In the model below I've shown the completed building as it was planned rather than how it was executed.
